Classic Camel

When it comes to building a classic, well-rounded wardrobe the camel coat is king. Whether I'm wearing jeans and flats or a gorgeous sheath, a camel coat instantly elevates my look à la Ali MacGraw in Love Story

While a great camel coat is certainly an investment piece, it should last a lifetime if properly cared for. Plus, if you choose a classic silhouette with timeless details, it will never go out of style and will perfectly compliment your wardrobe for years to come. I have had my coat for a few years now and can honestly say it still looks brand new, and has become a cornerstone of my fall and winter dressing.

When I chose this coat, I opted for classic details that will stand the test of time and a longer length to compliment pants, skirts and dresses of varying formality. There is just something about deep brown buttons that instantly add a "rich" feel to any garment, so even if you can't afford your dream coat right now, you can pick one up with clean lines and tortoise shell, or marbled buttons and as long as you wear it with panache, nobody will be the wiser.
