On My Radar No 58

Happy Friday! I have to start this post with the most exciting thing that happened this week - we found a kitten! We found this little cutie playing in the middle of the road earlier this week and were able to trap him using a humane trap (provided by the Charleston Animal Society) Wednesday night. He was a little hissy at first but that quickly passed and he’s now a cuddly, friendly little fur. We won’t be keeping him for ourselves because a) we already have 2 cats (Jeffrey and Samantha) and 1 dog (Maddie) and we’re very content with our little fur family at the moment and b) he’s too cute not to share the wealth and I love the idea of being able to bring cat joy into someone else’s life.

I love my cats so much and they bring me so much happiness that I would love to play a small part in giving that same joy to someone else. So, long story short I’m so excited to get him a great home. I have no doubt we’ll find someone quickly because he’s soooo cute and very friendly. Tentatively we’ll be working with the Charleston Animal Society to get him neutered and adopted (if he’s big enough for his surgery), or fostered until he’s big enough. If you or someone you know live in Charleston and are looking to add a kitten to your family, let me know!

Other than that, nothing too exciting has happened this week. Just a lot of filming and editing and planning for upcoming content - how is it already November!? This weekend, I’m looking forward to spending some time in the gorgeous fall weather and settle into the last 2 months of the year. In the meantime, here are a few of the things that have caught my attention this week.

FAO SCHWARZ REOPENING | After closing down abruptly 3 years ago, FAO Schwarz announced that they will be reopening.

10X10 RECAP & #10X10REPRESENTATIONMATTERS | The Fall 10x10 challenge just ended and with it came a slew of amazing outfit combinations and new inspiring women to follow. By far the most important part of this season’s challenge though was the #10X10RepresentationMatters initiative and the countless personal stories that were shared as a result. I highly recommend taking a peak through the hashtag and if you’re looking for a nice round-up to start, this is great.

MY FAVORITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME THIS YEAR |Hands down my favorite halloween costume this year belongs to these adorable kids dressed as Ina Garten and her husband Jeffrey!
