As you know, I rely on a few "style uniforms" to get me dressed quickly and still feel polished everyday. These uniforms are typically the same year-round with a few minor tweaks to suit either cold or hot weather, and they're made up of pieces I love and wear for many years. I find that this makes getting dressed a breeze and creates a perfect canvas that I can change up with accessories and outerwear throughout the year. Recently though, I've been feeling like one of my favorite spring uniforms was lacking a cute but lightweight and breathable white top. Now, you know how much I love a crisp white shirt but if last summer taught me anything, it's that some days during a southern summer you just can't be bothered with rolling up your sleeves and anything too tight to the body is a definite no-go.

On those days, when t-shirts feel too casual I would love to have a one or two simple but fun white tops to help update my jeans and sandals, flats or slides combination that I wear on repeat. I currently have two blue tops like this and I wore them so much last year that I know a white one will serve me well.

With this newfound realization in mind, I'm currently on the hunt for something that fits the bill and isn't too expensive. To help me hone in on the silhouette I want, I've put together this visualization that I'll be coming back to to keep me focused on the perfect silhouette - plus, I just love making these!

straw hat / sunglasses / white shirt / jeans (my favorite skinny jeans!) / gold hoops / watch / signet ring / ivory comb / perfume (my new favorite!) / straw bag / sandals
