Inspiration | The Beauty Of Neutrals

Maintaining and sticking to a minimized wardrobe can be tricky at times. For me, the most difficult moments come when inspiration is running low and the seasons are right on the cusp of changing. Even though it will likely stay very warm here in Charleston for a few more months, I'm already dreaming of fall clothing, so to keep me focused on my long term wardrobe goals, get me excited for the pieces I already have, and help me focus in on the few if any new pieces I may want to add, I've started gathering fall inspiration.

During a recent inspiration binge I came across a recent Brunello Cucinelli lookbook that has me dreaming of rich neutral separates that are perfect for colder weather. I love the way these similar hues all play off of each other and I'm even planning on incorporating some of these techniques into my wardrobe for our upcoming trip to Maine. It's set to dip below 70 in the evenings and early mornings and it couldn't be a better excuse to start pulling out my sweaters.

Undone hair, rich camel, pure white and subtle greenish browns. When done in different textures and weights, they're are a match made in heaven.
